How do I report a consumer lawsuit?

During the life cycle of an account, many things can happen. Consumers have the option to file bankruptcy, seek attorney assistance, and dispute the account with your office. Many times these decisions are not made until they come into contact with our office. Each of these actions by the consumer triggers certain responsibilities on your part.
If you are being sued by the consumer for an account you have submitted to us, please notify us immediately. We will return the account to you, cease all collection efforts, and await further proceedings. We cannot collect on an account that is actively under litigation.
